Crafted under the artistic direction of Zoë Lukas, our custom-designed wedding cakes are admired by dessert lovers around the world and have appeared in the pages of Brides Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Weddings magazine. Martha Stewart Weddings named us one of the top pastry pros in America. We’re best-known for our impossibly smooth buttercream cakes, but we make beautiful fondant-covered cakes as well.
How to Order a Wedding Cake
- Schedule your private tasting as far in advance of your wedding as possible. You and up to two guests will get to try 6 flavors of cake and we’ll begin designing your dream cake right before your eyes. Tastings cost $35 and are held Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays promptly at 6:15 pm.
- Bring along inspiration for your cake. This could be a swatch of fabric, your invitation, a precious item, or simply photos of other cakes that you admire.
- Have fun! Lots of couples tell us that choosing a wedding cake is the easiest (and most delicious) part of their planning. Whipped Bakeshop is a low-pressure zone, so you can relax.
Buttercream-iced wedding cakes start at $6 per serving and fondant cakes start at $7. We have options to work with a wide range of budgets.
Baked from scratch with three layers of cake and two layers of buttercream, our wedding cakes are built to slice perfectly and taste dreamy. We recommend tightly cling-wrapping and freezing the top layer of your Whipped Bakeshop cake. It will taste amazing on your anniversary!
