The amazing photographer Brittney Raine recently sent us some wonderful photos of a wedding we catered back in May at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. We worked with one of our favorite planners, Christiane Lehman of Truly You Events to put everything together.
Christina and Hugues (seen above, cutting the cake) were such a lovely couple to work with! They ordered a 2-tiered custom damask wedding cake in almond pound and vanilla old fashioned buttercream to serve 30 guests. We love the sweet proportions of this cake! To feed the rest of their guests, we also made them two delicious 50-serving cakes that were cut and served by the team over at Starr Catering.
Finally, we provided 190 single-macaron wedding favors with dusty blue ribbon to match the cake and event decor. They chose ivory shells with a filling assortment of Belgian ganache, raspberry buttercream, vanilla bean buttercream and nutella buttercream. These lovelies were displayed in a gorgeous piece supplied by Maggpie Vintage Rentals.
